Using video on your camera for macro

Hi I have been trying out the video capabilities of the EM5 mark 1, with the 4/3rds 70_300mm lens plus x2 converter, in addition to this I added an Mika 16mm spacer, for close up, just to see how in would perform.
Well I was surprised how well it worked, it was done hand held, If you do the math full frame would calculate to 1200mm focal length the butterflies were around 20ft away.
Video last 7mins approx..

Re: Using video on your camera for macro

Hi Dave, I have just watched the video, being hand held it was a little jittery, but I thought it was good, it just goes to show what can be achieved with the EM 5 mark 1, it is a great camera, thanks for posting.

P.S. my brain is in overdrive now

Re: Using video on your camera for macro

Hi just got back home, I know it looked a bit jittery, it was us with equivalent to full frame 1200mm and, most of the movements was actually caused by the wind, so a tripod would not have helped much. But thanks for the comments. I was amazed at setup refocused with a none m4/3rds lens, I was glad that I was able to focus at all, with every thing moving around, not sure how smooth the video ran front my cloud drive.
