People at peace
A couple more scene's from my Sunday excursion, the fisherman at the lake - ripples around the waders and on the weight being wound back in made it a very tranquil scene.
The second image of the gent sat on the style, he was just sat there looking into the distance contemplating who knows what. Again, the EM1 Pany 100-300 captured both scenes perfectly. ![]() ![]() |

Re: People at peace
Nicely caught Ian especially the first one.
![]() have you thought of going for a more pastel rendition rather than the vibrant colours to emphasize the peacful mood?

Re: People at peace
Thanks Gents,
The second image was taken when the sun was out and really illuminating the field beyond the person on the style, I did not fancy a less vibrant result as I felt it would not compliment the sitters pose as much as this version. Thanks for the suggestion though and like all things photographic it is a personal preference and there will be those that favour one over the other, I also feel it contrasts the less colourful fisherman image. |

Re: People at peace
Good stuff Ian, the first one is very effective especially with the water rippling out.

Re: People at peace
Thanks Paul,
I did have to wait until the ripples were right and the line was in the correct place to add a finish to the image. |

Re: People at peace
Great shot, nicely framed or cropped. The ripples do make the difference.
