OM-D EM-5 Elite?

I read somewhere about the last of the EM-5s having slightly different control wheels or something. Is this what this is at SRS: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OLYMPUS-OM...item5411e234c8

Trawling through the description it says about revised controls and different texture finish.

Surely that can't be it for 699?

Re: OM-D EM-5 Elite?

I vaguely remember talk of a "tarted up" version. Looks like it.

Yes that's it.

See here. http://www.olympus.co.uk/site/en/c/c..._m5/index.html

Scroll down to " E-M5 M.ZUIKO PRO KIT".

150 extra seems quite a lot for what seems to be minor ergonomic/finish changes.

I believe the idea is that it comes with the 12-40 Pro zoom as standard - with slight cosmetic changes to control wheels and the leatherette fisih. I recently purchased such a kit as the sell-out price was only $100 more that just the zoom lens alone!
Very happy with choice.

Re: OM-D EM-5 Elite?

I just bought a brand new one (Elite) from SRS for £349, missed out the weekend special by a day, it was only £329.
Must be the bargain of the year, I wanted a second EM-5 as I like having 2 identical bodies

WEX are selling the standard EM-5 second hand for £355!!

I just bought an Elite Pro Kit from SRS for 799. The body was priced separately at 299 (now showing discontinued) which made the 12-40 500!!
