Melbourne Break anyone!!!!!

Not what you were thinking after Mark's forray's intoo our stete capitol.
This is my sister new cart,, a Melbourne Show Break or Brake" yes it is that yellow, and red and the amount of chrome brings down planes. the harness is his other show gear there is some made to match and it is all black patten and red leather. The horse being broken in is usually attaches to the side of the shafts and driven by a second person.
They are usually used only in the show rings with everyday ones not as blingy.
Jamie is about 17.5 hands and a Clydesdale

Ah yes, Roberta, you live in the picturesque high country far from the madding crowd!

Looks like you enjoy all the equestrian pleasures of life in "the bush" !

Lovely horse; drivers would have no excuses for driving fast close to this set up, bright colours.

Re: Melbourne Break anyone!!!!!

Clydesdale's, been what seems a lifetime since I've seen one. Childhood memories 40's - 50's of them pulling the drays through the city of Edinburgh taking beer to the pubs. More recently - the late 80's early 90's in and around Newcastle-upon Tyne they were brought out to strut their stuff on special occasions. The sheer size of them with the clip-clop are something that stays with you right into your later years.

Thanks for stirring old memories.
