Re: Show us your magazines!

Great idea. I've never tried this before so thought I'd have a go.

This picture features a mate of mine (or at least he was!)

I've just had a wicked thought and emailed it to him with this message:

Hi Dave,

I've just made my first sale through Alamy Picture Library, a front cover for a magazine I've never heard of. Still, it's earnt me 50.

Cheers,

John

I'll await his call!

A rather macabre effort I'm sorry!

Re: Show us your magazines!

John, that's gruesome! I love it, there's even a bar code for authenticity!

I've just noticed that Pete's has a bar code too, I'll have to get one for mine!

Re: Show us your magazines!

Hehe, cheers John. It was the first image of mine I looked at in my Lightroom Catalogue and was what immediately 'sprang' to mind

PS: did you see the price...

Good work so far folks, I'm sure there are other possibilities out there... Let's be having them

I noticed it was in $ but only just realized it's 666 - how appropriate!

If this was the first image in your catalogue I do worry about the rest.

Mind you, after reading Pete's "What Staple" magazine cover to cover we might all want to shove a Magnum in our mouths and I don't mean an ice cream!

Good greif, Pete, you have some interesting hobbies! I particularly like the concept of "Your favourite nail pictures." Mind you, if anyone could make a nail look interesting it would be you. In fact, you've just done it with this cover!

I'm loving this thread.

Re: Show us your magazines!

Oh, I came across a copy of this...

Its one of those freebies that gets stuffed through the letterbox. It must have become trapped under the doormat. Quite a good read though..
