The power zoom is really useful for video. I have used both my em1 and epl5 for video clips and it beats having to carry a separate HD camcorder.

I'm not a video shooter either (normally), but sometimes I do record a clip of something & it is nice to know the aperture control has been made more stable with this lens.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Unfortunately I was asked to record my daughter doing something & my arms ached at the end of it as I hadn't anticipated it being so long. Next time, I will make sure there is sufficient memory space & full batteries, but also I will make sure I use a tripod for such a lengthy session.
