Re: Venus

Hi, colour for me has more punch. If it were my picture, I would try and tone down the top right hand side, reduce the lilac colour.
Just a suggestion,
Pault

Re: Venus

I like the B+W one out of the two, Venus has a lovely expression and a gorgeous smile which you've captured just at the right moment. I'm sure Venus and her parents will be highly delighted to have a copy of this photo. As always superb processing.

Re: Venus

I have to say when I saw the colour one I thought wow but a B&W version wouldn't work anywhere near so well. Wrong, that B&W is really nice too. Of the two though I still prefer the colour one, that lovely smile and the bright colours go well together to convey a lovely joyful character. Very nicely captured Paul.

Re: Venus

I have to say I like them both for different reasons.

A lovely subject like this helps of course.

Re: Venus

Both are lovely, but the colour version seems punchier and so appeals more.
