Cooperative Jay

I think this Jay may be a youngish bird as it looks fluffier than usual. When I spotted it I crept forward, expecting it to fly away as I got closer but it carried on hopping about above my head. In the end I was wandering about trying to get a clear view and it still seemed unfazed by my presence.

It was nearly 8 o'clock in the evening and I was standing under the dense canopy of the tree, so the Auto ISO hit its ceiling of 6400. I wasn't expecting much success but the shots turned out better than I anticipated. I still managed to get some pesky twigs across the bird in a couple of the shots though.

E-M1 II, 300mm f4 and MC-14.
