Battery box ?

I find I carry a spare couple of batteries around with me loose in my bag. I've been looking for a small battery box to hold one, or perhaps two, BLN-1 batteries for my E-M1/E-P5. I found a battery box on Amazon, but it's just too small for the BLN-1. Does anybody have a solution ?

Re: Battery box ?

Maybe a bit big for your requirements, but I carry more batteries, particularly if away for the weekend; I use little neoprene zip up bags from Poundland.
They are normally with the tech stuff, phone cases, cables, screen protectors etc.
Colour coded, padded, and will fit 5 or 6 BLN-1s, a 9-18mm mFT, a 14/20mm etc.

Re: Battery box ?

I use an appropriate size plastic bag, one per battery. The main purpose is to prevent foreign objects shorting the terminals, and secondly to keep the battery clean.

Re: Battery box ?

Yes, when I'm carrying a single spare I keep it in a small ziplock clear plastic bag.
For two or three I use some hard plastic cases with a snap-lock that originally held 4 CR123 lithium batteries and were sold by 7DayShop. Three BLN-1s fit exactly.

Re: Battery box ?

Yes, thanks: that also shows the ones I use, but they seem not to be available now.

Re: Battery box ?

Thanks for all the info'. I've ordered a couple of the JJC boxes from Amazon, however I do like the look of Ross's zip case. I may get one of those as well

Re: Battery box ?

I use a Thinktank DSLR Battery Holder 4 bag - it holds 4 of the EM1 batteries

see them

https://www.thinktankphoto.com/colle...ttery-holder-4

bought them from an online shop in the UK, as a result of a recommendation on this forum.

Google tells me that Harrisons of Sheffield have then in stock for about 18
