How did they do it?

I am mildly curious as to how Olympus handled the roll out of the E3 specifically how they updated the already built cameras to the latest firmware and packed them for sale in the last week or so.

The firmware in the middle of October was at .9 so a lot of cameras had to be handled ie plugged into a computer, updated checked, packed into boxes, shipped to the countries and then distributed to the dealers. Quite a task.

Was the final firmware update done in Europe or in the factory in China?

Not knowing will not damage my life, but I am curious. <g>
