Warranty Returns Procedure From Olympus.

Hello I recently sent my EM-1 off to Portugal for repair. It did get there and back safely but there was a little bit of confusion over what to do with the labels from the carrier; DHL and the provision of proof of purchase, which I wasn't asked to provide and had to scan and email them off a couple of days later.
I contacted Olympus Customer Support for clarification and received this message in response:

I can confirm that the correct procedure is stated in the DHL paperwork which includes the copy of the airway bill and the Collect & Return Customer Instructions.

Please refer to the DHL Paperwork attached.

When claiming a warranty repair the copy of the proof of purchase needs to be sent with the camera.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to assist you further.

Here are the DHL instructions:

Collect & Return Customer Instructions.
Dear Customer,
the following instructions should be read in order to ensure smooth handling by DHL
to collect your shipment on: ** DATE **
- If you already have the dedicated box for packing the shipment or are using your own box, please do not close the box before the DHL driver arrives for collection.
- If you need to book or change a collection, please contact OLYMPUS on
+800 67108400.
- If you need to re-book a collection should you have missed the DHL driver, please
contact +800 67108400. Please always quote the reference number.
- When the DHL driver arrives, both you and the driver will need to sign a security
sticker. The signed security sticker will be used to seal the box.
- Please ensure the driver signs your copy of the label as evidence of collection.
- If you have any questions, please contact OLYMPUS on +800 67108400.
- Special attention: Batteries damaged on the outside and/or defective for safety
reasons are forbidden for air transport and can not be handled by DHL.
