Camera for my son

Hi, as my Son is now a keen shutterbug I am looking for a MFT camera for him to move up too. What can you offer?

See this.

I could chuck in an Olympus 14-150mm if that helps. The camera is in very good nick, the lens has a chip out of the filter ring, but works OK. 500 for both plus postage.

What about 4/3 stuff ? I'm sure you could get some real bargains, but, of course, your son wouldn't be able to use your lenses ... but you could his :-)

Re: Camera for my son

My Daughter uses my old G1. It was relatively cheap when I brought it & didn't seem worth trying to sell several years later. Not cutting edge hardware, but plenty good enough to learn with.

Re: Camera for my son

Not an MFT camera but if he wants to try an 'all in one' first then I have a boxed Stylus 1 sitting in the cupboard, only done just over 600 shots.

Re: Camera for my son

The E600 always appeared to me to be a good camera, though I've never owned one.

Here's dpreview's conclusions on the similar E620 (they didn't review the E600):
