Macro adjuster

I'm not sure what the proper named for this gadget is. However it sits on top of a tripod and enables you to make fine lateral and fore and aft adjustments when taking macro shots etc. Not sure what it's worth either 30?

Re: Macro adjuster

Focus rails are useful for taking multiple photos to use in focus stacking. This enables great depth of field in macro work.

Also it should be usable as a nodal plate for taking panorama photos. i.e. place the lens at the nodal point to prevent parallax.

Re: Macro adjuster

I'm open to offers. It has no maker's name on it but is pretty sturdy and weighs about 1.5lb.

Hi David, Focus Rail arrived this morning and currently in use. A fine example and sturdy. I will put it to good use. Thank you.
