I have just started to get back into photography and am using digital for first time.Hope you will give advice in future as I will surely need some.Best wishes on new site

O.K. here goes.Whats best way to resize for upload.Just tried and image seemed to lose sharpness.Used CS3 web,but lost resolution and quality.I did warn new to all this,so be gentle

Hi - welcome the site

Resize to around 800 pixels wide or 700 high for best on-screen fit. Then apply some gentle sharpening. I use the set-up in the attached picture.

If it's not sharp enough, apply again - though two applications is usually more than enough.
