EM-1 and focus tracking

I had the chance today to try the EM-1 + Pany 100-300 and see how the camera works for focus tracking.

I have to admit to being skeptical after my experiences with the EM-5 but, I was not dissapointed and it delivered in spades - subject matter was a challenge as they came from different angles so I was not able to predict exactly the course they would take but once the camera locked on, it stayed!

Thanks Chevvy, at least I now have the confidence to shoot fast moving subjects and know the EM-1 will deliver, another box ticked!!

The first is a great shot. It's great to hear some positives about the EM-1.

Re: EM-1 and focus tracking

Thank you all for the comments, I am pleased so far and will be putting it through its paces over the next few days when we are in Brighton - only going to shoot primes though.

It just feels great and is in my mind an improvement over the EM-5 in many ways without being much larger/heavier...........good job Olympus!

Here are a couple more aerial shots:

Some fantastic shots there Ian. Great technique as well as a great camera. Between you and Brian you have certainly shown what the camera is capable of.

I'm only a little envious of those who have the M1, ha! Someday some chance!!
It's a super camera all round, who couldn't love it! Enjoy!
