first attempt with my e450

hello all,
im very new to dslr photography, but have been out for a walk today and thought i would try my e450 out, i used the auto setting as i dont really know what a lot of the settings do yet, here are a few of the shots i thought were ok,

comments more than welcome

a lot to learn i know

Good set - I like the bridge over the stream and the reflections, very subtle. Enjoy your new camera, they are a fantastic range the E-4xx, I still shoot with my E-410 sometimes and its a little cracker

That's a lovely bit of winch-thingy, great for photos!




No need for thumbnails when the files aren't big.

Very nice colours from your e-450, good job.

A nice set of images! well done, if you want you could try the A or Av setting, this allows you to change wether you want a blurred background or not 5.6 will make the background blurred, but it sorts the shutter speed out for you!

Yes, the key is using [img] tags instead of [url] tags or thumbnail links.

Hit the QUOTE button on my post and copy and paste bits of it to get the idea. I clicked on your thumbnail links and then used 'right click' & 'copy image address' to get the right link and then sandwiched that inside [img] tags. You'll see in my quoted post.
Use the PREVIEW POST button to make sure everything's right before you submit reply.
