Re: I saw a Goblin

Whoa! Long time since I saw one of those TeasMade's. Can't help noticing the old toggle switches on the front corners, all metal switch toggle and body. H&S wouldn't allow them now.
Nicely captured and nice sense of humour.

Re: I saw a Goblin

We never had a Goblin.

We have worn out several Teasmades - managed to find a new one on ebay a couple of years ago albeit an early model still going strong - just like the tea it brews.

Regards. Barr1e

ps Don't forget to put the clock back tonight.

Extraordinary gadget aside from a clock what does it do?

That's an awfully small cup in front of it.

Re: I saw a Goblin

We have a goblin vacuum cleaner at work. I think it was old when I started (over 30 years ago) It's not used much but it still comes in handy when servicing equipment

When I first saw our Goblin I was reminded of the Teasmade I think my grandparents had one - which looked very much like that. Nice to see it still in such good condition!

I must admit I had to take a second look myself. An item well before the time of that 'old' tea maker behind it.

Re: I saw a Goblin

Love the composition and the content. Just reminds me of the numerous B&B's where the 'Host/Owner' used to wake one up with a cup'o'tea bought to your room.

Re: I saw a Goblin

Never had a Golblin Teasmade but did have a Goblin cylinder vacuum cleaner. Great for cleaning out the fireplace and dealing with brick dust and small rubble. That looks like quite an old model there.

Re: I saw a Goblin

Frank Skinner joke (slightly rude): “Sex makes me thirsty. What I need is a Goblin Teas Maid”.

Nice product photo of a classic British product.
