What would you like to know, Dave?

Am moving this as it's not a zoom

Not used it much but all indications are that it's an excellent performer - the sun it out so I may venture out into the gust wind and take some shots for you to peruse, Dave

Hello Dave,

As it happens Carmarthen Cameras phoned me about one hour ago to say that they have now had mine into stock and will be posting it to me tomorrow. I doubt I will have chance to give it a thorough 'work-out' just yet however when I get chance I will post some images taken with it.

Regards Simon

Re: Oly MFT 17mm 1.8

Not much chance of stunning photography from me because of the conditions by the time I got outside - blue skies but clouds racing across the sun so consistency was quite difficult when swapping lenses (I took the 17mm pancake with me). I also didn't use a tripod. But these RAW files may be helpful (taken on an E-M5) - all at ISO 200:

http://e-group.uk.net/files/forum/P1300039.ORF Non-pancake @ f/2.8
http://e-group.uk.net/files/forum/P1300041.ORF Pancake @ f/2.8
http://e-group.uk.net/files/forum/P1300047.ORF Non-pancake @f/4.0
http://e-group.uk.net/files/forum/P1300048.ORF Panckage @f/4.0
http://e-group.uk.net/files/forum/P1300053.ORF Non-pancake @f/6.3
http://e-group.uk.net/files/forum/P1300055.ORF Pancake @f/6.3

One thing I am noticing is that the Pancake seems to produce a slightly wider field of view.
