Cheap! Cheap!

Nick was very, VERY Patient ... this is one of 4 keepers from 30 shots It was dark up high, under the eves, in shade, so I used flash and had to do some editing - I am sure I can do a little better and will try in CO Pro6 this evening

We stopped for lunch in Stockbridge, Hampshire
at Lily Langtree's Tearooms - instead of waiting, I wandered off along a stream and found some houses with House Martin nests. I had to leave them for lunch

But returned after lunch ... with Nick

Re: Cheap! Cheap!

Fantastic capture, particularly the wing blur, is just right I think.

Ditto, great shot . It might be my screen but is there a slight yellow cast?

HMs build the nest to the top with a small door and the young grow, making the door larger, the yellow is "glue" residue where the nest has fallen away,!

Re: Cheap! Cheap!

Amanda, Hi and Thanks - I wish I could have got the sharp adult in frame too ... but that was a bit too much for my lens and the distance and light
