Sunrise this morning

Hi all couldnt sleep so went out with my camera and took a few shots of the sunrise, this is the best of my bunch i think

one thing looking at it now that i think spoils it is the little pier in the breakwater, i thought originally it might lead your eye to the sun.
C&C if anyone wants to

Re: Sunrise this morning

Hi,

Like the shot.

I like the pier and the lighthouse, perhaps clone out the turbine.

Regards

Gavin

Re: Sunrise this morning

It needs some CCW rotation to level the horizon. Otherwise I like it as is.

Re: Sunrise this morning

Why would you want to sleep with that going on?

I think including the pier was a good decision. It may not quite lead the eye towards the sun (the sun's own reflection on the water does that much more strongly) but it does break up an otherwise empty area, providing relief both in terms of shape and tone.

As David said, all that is needed is slight rotation to make the horizon level, then you have a beautiful picture that anyone would be proud of and well worth the early start.
