Re: Brisbane City Hall with new 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO

Larry, that last one is a cracker shot … exceptionally crisp. 28mm, but what lens?

It's certainly a nice lens (from what I see from others) for travel occasions when just one lens is all that will be taken.

The E-M1 Mk II coupled with the 12-100mm must be one of the best (if not the best) travelling combinations available today. Over the Easter period this year, I made a quick trip to the Netherlands. Except for two photos of a distant windmill which I took using the PL 100-400, all the other photos were taken with the 12-100mm. There were a few occasions when I felt a bit "confined" and would have appreciated a wider angle lens. - Hence my recent purchase of the 7-14mm.

I now think that I have a set of cameras and lenses to take care of just about every situation:

1. Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mk II (usually with M.Zuiko 12-100mm f/4 IS PRO lens attached).
2. Olympus M.Zuiko 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO.
3. Panasonic LUMIX G Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm F4.0-6.3 ASPH.
4. Olympus OM-D E-M1 (Mk I) with M.Zuiko 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO attached as a backup camera.
5. Olympus FL-50R flash.

Of course, I still have my Canon EOS 6D with a suitable array of Canon EF Red Ring lenses for those occasions when lighting conditions become seriously challenging.

But if I had to go out and take photos in a bit of a hurry with little time to think, I would take 1 above, together with 2 if in Europe, or 3 if in Africa or Australia.

It does look like you're well set up then. I have all those except M.Zuiko 12-100mm f/4 IS PRO lens & Panasonic LUMIX G Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm F4.0-6.3 ASPH where the latter may be what I'll end up with (next year hopefully). I have the other f2.8 zooms so I can take indoor shots of functions & concerts etc. (without flash).
