OMD EM1 after upgrade

Took camera into garden to see if I could see any difference after updating the EM1 today. All taken with 12-40 lens.

I found a number of plants did not seem to know it is winter.

Viola

If anyone can give me a name for this one, I cannot remember planting this. It could have been in a batch of bulbs planted last year.

Last spring I posted the apple blossom; after the wind last week I now have this, and boy do the Blackbirds love it!

And this rose is still going with buds still to open?

Camera and grip going well Just need the MMF3 to test out my 4/3 lenses.

Feedback comments welcome.

Hi Ed, there's a lot of confusion amongst the plant world due to the mild weather. Your first shot is Spring like! It must be in a very sheltered area of the garden. Lovely shots with great detail.

Re: OMD EM1 after upgrade

I updated mine last night as well with 12mm on, no update for 12mm (still shows 1.0) yet there was for the 45mm & 75mm that now both show lens firmware as 1.1 same as the camera.

I intend to try the camera over the weekend and see if I notice any changes in AF.

Have you noticed any difference in performance since the upgrade?

Re: OMD EM1 after upgrade

Focus seemed better, like bredman I had a number of blurred shots all the shots I took were keepers. This could be down to me taking more care or having the battery grip fitted gave a steady platform
