- long enough for me to have a wade round the garden with that 50mm lens.

Huh. Season of mists, mellow fruitfulness and iffy looking mushrooms.

Still - I spotted this.

I like this Pete, it looks quite calming and mellow, love the positioning, how did you take the shot with a black background?

Most kind :-)

Hand held. Well single handed actually, I used my spare hand to hold the thing in the right position so that the shaded area of the shrub in the background gave the right "look".

RAW into Elements with slight exposure and colour correction. Finally a small amount of photoshop to emphasis the background shadow
