A few more Ladybower and Derwent Dam landscapes

Here's a few more landscapes shots I got on Thursday morning.

It was a rare day out these days where I could do what I wanted so had to make the most of it. Hope you like them.

A lovely atmospheric set Phil.

The first and last both stand out for me.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: A few more Ladybower and Derwent Dam landscapes

Hello Phil,
These are beautiful images that really show the benefit of being out early to catch the mist which adds so much to the landscape. That looks like a lovely part of England which I would like to visit, I sometimes think that Scotland has a monopoly on great landscapes but your photos disprove that! I really like how the manmade structures have integrated perfectly with the landscape and add so much interest. You must have had a cracking day with photos like that and the flypast as well, it doesn't get much better than listening to Merlin engines in my book.
Regards Jim.

Re: A few more Ladybower and Derwent Dam landscapes

Alf actually No2 is my favourite too. I shot it into the sun and it came out really dark so I tried tweaking the levels in PS elements and it came out like that.

Jim I agree sometimes it does pay to get up early. The hills are not as high as Scotland but yes Derbyshire has some lovely landscapes. Couple that with the last post drifting across the valley and the merlin soundtrack, it was really special.
