Favourite Christmas Decoration.

Neil and I want to wish you all A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS , and all the best for 2013. May it be a good year for us all.

I hope you will add your favourite Christmas Decoration here.
I have collected miniature angels , mostly hand-made, over the years and now we have an "Angel Christmas Tree".
This is a section of it. Merry Xmas Everyone!

Re: Favourite Christmas Decoration.

Lyn, Wishing You and your husband Neil ? a very Merry Christmas and an exceptionally Happy 2013

I LURVE your Angels how wonderful to have a collection of unique, hand made Angels Thank you for sharing ... I shall have to ask for a set of images of all of them ?

I shall post a photo of my FAV Christmas Decoration here later I have to do the Annual end of year Accounts first

Are you going to put an entry into the Competition ? you have a few days left ? I have asked Ed aka WeeMan, if no town tree at night, one of our tree at night ? awaiting a reply
ps I have 'used' the sunsets and shall send them to you once ... the Accounts are done (and visitors gone and Peace returns, nay arrives)

Thank you Mark. We were fortunate in Adelaide to have perfect weather on Christmas Day and were able to eat outside. All over now for another year!

That is gorgeous! Is it all fresh? And if so, do you make one every Christmas?

Yes its all fresh even the willow hoop I have been promising for years to make one so it may be every year now next time it needs holly berries and more than 20 minutes work.

Re: Favourite Christmas Decoration.

I think it is lovely, and yes, you have probably made a job for yourself for each Xmas from now on!
We have an artificial one on the front door, but you have inspired me for next year!
Our Holly berries are green at this time of the year though and nicely red in June!

Re: Favourite Christmas Decoration.

Interesting piece that John ... some 7 yr old school children were asked about Baby Jesus and his birthday date and they had no idea who Baby Jesus was - let alone his birthdate thats so sad for humanity and General knowledge levels

It is a nice piece John I have a little wooden wood with straw figures not got around to "time for me" yet, still doing the darned accounts for the accountant

Re: Favourite Christmas Decoration.

Thank you John - your Nativity Scene is gorgeous and has a wonderful olde-worlde look about it. Our NS consists of glass figures and like yours sits on the same table every year.
I do like angels and have never seen an optic fibre one like yours. She is spectacular.
Thanks for taking the time to post.
