Pen-F question

Has anybody seen information on who makes the sensor in the new Pen-F? Is it Sony or Panasonic?

Re: Pen-F question

Various rumours. Sony most likely but I've heard Toshiba and Panasonic also mentioned.

Re: Pen-F question

Most likely Sony (like the Panasonic GX8).

Re: Pen-F question

I would guess it would be the Sony IMX269 sensor.

Re: Pen-F question

Interesting and pleased to hear it is most likely a Sony sensor.

I have a theory that my Nikon camera uses the same sensor fabrication with twice the physical size as that in my Olympus. If my theory is true then I can make a guess as to the mega-pixel count in the next replacement for my Nikon camera.
