Should I buy the 75mm?

So, imagine a person found themselves with disposable dosh in hand in the form of a company bonus. Imagine that person had already given a similar sum to spouse to spend on clothes.

Should that person consider the 75mm to add to the 12mm and 45mm they already have?

Theoretically....

Re: Should I buy the 75mm?

Get it bought! I borrowed one for a few hours and it blew me away!

I have exactly the same combination of kit and if I had the money I would get it!

Re: Should I buy the 75mm?

Hmm. This is what I had expected... It's just the price of the thing.

I'm rather hoping there will be someone here who is considering selling theirs

Re: Should I buy the 75mm?

Mmmm. And SRS are doing them new for 699. Bit more than I wanted to spend.

There's one on ebay for 525. Oh dear. Faff. Dither.

Maybe I could sell a liver?

Even 525 is a lot of money, and you might not use it that much.

Re: Should I buy the 75mm?

NO - Take the clothes back and get a refund.

Save the money for a 40 - 150 f/2.8
