cute as a button

Decided to try and learn how to do portrait photography,So after speaking to my friend and fellow forum member Alexr he suggested i take a few shots of his lovely Grand daughter. So i set up a white background and two fl50r flashes mounted on stands with umbrellas and remote triggers.Still to get them all edited
but i hope Alex and his daughter are going to be happy with the results

As the title say she really is "as cute as a button"

Re: cute as a button

She's very photogenic little girl. No1 is good but for me No2 is something special.

Well done.

You got great expressions out of her, that's got to be a crucial skill! Nice one.

Re: cute as a button

Excellent indeed ! Great captures, I like both but if I had to choose a favourite it would be No.2.

Also goes to show that you don't need large mains powered mono blocs to achieve quality results, a couple of decent speed lights often do just fine as in this case

Regards

Simon

Your title says it all Scott!
I know nothing at all about portrait photography - but No2 is certainly something special and I'm sure your friend will be thrilled with your results.

Re: cute as a button

Well, I'd certainly be happy if you came to me with those! (I think I might have to pinch the bubbles idea when I finally get my lights/background set up! )
