Mottisfont Moments

Contrary to the rumours I am still alive, although I haven't taken many pictures for ages. Shame on me.

We visited Mottisfont again this week. They have a Heath Robinson exhibition (insert joke here) which was quite good.
We also signed up for a guided tour of the building which got a small party of us into several rooms before the rabble.

That was quite nice as it allowed me to get some empty room pictures.
It's a thing the NT are doing more and more. Sometimes you get to see parts of the building that are not open to the public at all.

These pictures: Panasonic GX7 with my Olympus 12mm f2 and 45mm f1.8

Anyway, this was my favourite shot of the day.

Meanwhile I am attempting to get my photomojo going again in the time honoured way: Buying some new gear

Pete

Re: Mottisfont Moments

You may not have taken many photographs recently but you certainly haven't lost your touch - or your eye for detail. My favourite is the penultimate picture, it's a cracking good shot.

Ditto John, that's my favourite too. Nicely spotted Pete.

Re: Mottisfont Moments

There's a Heath Robinson Museum in Pinner, where he lived for a time. It's well worth a visit. There's also quite a nice cafe next to it:

Re: Mottisfont Moments

We gave the Heath Robinson Museum some items - one of which is on show and several are in their store room.

Re: Mottisfont Moments

Very nice Pete. There's nothing like new gear to get your mojo happening again though.

Great set #4 for it's sheer power. Just conveys 'how it was', in those places.

Re: Mottisfont Moments

Slightly scary colour balance thing going on in the dining room.

What are those blue candles burning? Some sort of Arsenic compound?
Maybe they are actually oxy-acetylene flames, in which case I'm not passing the salt thank you...
