Re: Hang on - I'm having a Snack

That's a lovely shot, Nick, but surely he cannot hang like that too long; it would drive him batty!

I've seen them doing this, is it easier for them to feed.

If you ever see them building their nest you'll realise how agile they are. They build their nests from moss and cobwebs.

Lovely Nick. Gave me a smile, I have never seen this before. Amazing, with those tiny little legs.

Re: Hang on - I'm having a Snack

I think it's a bit like teenagers - you see them relaxing and think there is no way that can be comfortable. And I must admit I thought about rotating the shot - but this little fellow was really hanging the way he looks from a near straight shot.

I'm quite pleased with these, I think they show the character of this pretty tit.

Thanks All

Nick

Re: Hang on - I'm having a Snack

Thanks Huw and Falk.

I agree the second shot has an advantage as the Tit has relaxed into an angle with a nice head profile.

Re: Hang on - I'm having a Snack

Just seen today about ten of these, all closely huddled together, picking seed up from below a feeder, and all with their long tails poking up into the air - no camera to hand of course, but what a lovely sight. Can't believe what a tiny body they have though!

Regards
Chris

Re: Hang on - I'm having a Snack

Don't know how I missed this, but very glad I caught it finally. Our fatballs are full of these little fellows at the moment, just no light to photograph them.
