Put your Left Leg in

- though unfortunately the actions do not match the rest of the song

Re: Put your Left Leg in

One foot at a time because the perch is so cold?

Nice series, Nick.

Re: Put your Left Leg in

Nice ones Nick

John Nick stripped/pared back the outer electric cable and used it on our bird feeder metal perches - so when they are cold and frosty the birds warm feet do not stick/get frost burn (as our hands in the freezer )

Re: Put your Left Leg in

Thanks John and Chevvyf1.

Must admit I initially read one of the posts as suggesting you should electrify the perch. Certainly a good way to get a bird dancing.

Re: Put your Left Leg in

These are so tack sharp - it hurts! If only I could afford any of the HG Zuikos
I can't comment on the song, sorry. But you did a nice job dealing with those branches. The first one of this set is my favorite ...

Cheers,
Falk

Re: Put your Left Leg in

Nick, some excellent shots here.
I especially like the colour rendition. Superb.
However I must say that you have caused some grief here in this household.
Since reading your thread title I have been wandering around all day singing the Okey Cokey song.
So much so that SWMBO says that if I don't soon stop it she will throw a bucket of water of me to try and shock me out of it.
"OOhhhhhh, you put yer left leg, in yer left leg out, in out in ou....."

Re: Put your Left Leg in

Thanks All.

Can't comment on domestic problems caused - but I suspect picking up the reference might date both of us. Don't think I've heard the song since I watched the less interesting programs on Childrens TV.

Must admit I like bird photos with branches, seems more natural than perfect poses.

Hi Nick,

I like these, 1 and 3 stand out to me, but I like the colours of the chaffinch.
