Sometimes nice may just be enough.

Perfection would be great, but often I'm happy to settle for nice.

Was it divine intervention that persuaded that branch to parallel the roof line?

Comments welcome

Well I think very nice is in order. The wall and the sign and the white whispy clouds(but no vapour trails)really complement your picture.

Re: Sometimes nice may just be enough.

Thank you Andy

It's always a pleasant surprise when you do pp and find a shot that just tells it has worked, nothing dramatic, just nice.

Re: Sometimes nice may just be enough.

Very nice indeed. As photographers we need to learn to appreciate nice, so that we are able to recognize perfection on the rare times that it occurs.

Re: Sometimes nice may just be enough.

A very pleasing image, Nick, works on all levels for me.

If you are ever in these parts, there is a fascinating church at Little Saxham, nr Bury St Edmunds and the first ever poured concrete church at Westley, just outside Bury. Also a magnificent one at Horringer, which I think used to belong to Ickworth Park.

Having said that, you may have already been there and done that
