I have just ordered an E-M1 with the 12-40mm f2.8 from Park Cameras. That package is expected in November :-( -- I am pretty sure I read that the lens is a bit late in production.

Re: OM-D E-M1 pricing and offers (UK)

I have just tried to check my order status as advised in post 193 and it wouldn't log in. When I ticked the forgotten password box and was invited to enter my email (the one they used when acknowledging my registration) it said the email doesn't exist. Where does that leave me I wonder?

We are off to the Kruger in early November and I'm keen to have the camera in good time for that.

So you want to hang out with all the 12 year olds then Stephen?!

Re: OM-D E-M1 pricing and offers (UK)

Can I just confirm that if you didn't order direct from Olympus you have to send a copy of the invoice by post to Olympus (using the address given on the registration confirmation e-mail) in Germany to get the grip?

Or if you registered then ordered off the Olympus website and the registration document arrived afterwards!

Follow that up with an email to Olympus via their website and they totally ignore you and you have to also send the receipt and code to the address in Germany:

Marktdienste Haberbeck GmbH | “Olympus HLD-7 Battery Grip” | Industriestrasse 17 | DE-32791 Lage | Germany |
by 18 November 2013. |

Best regards

Chris

It is never our intention to disappoint our loyal customers so we will do our best to avoid it in this case too.

If you have pre-registered on the E-M1 promo page and have an order with an authorised UK dealer (i.e. not grey) or with us ALREADY but do not receive it in time due to high demand or supply issues - let us know. BUT please wait until the end of October to see how supply pans out.

I hope that sounds fair.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, and my thanks to Mark and Ian for taking the trouble to post on it.
I'm hoping that the comments above still apply as it looks like the delivery of mine will be delayed until the end of November. I did pre-register back in September and pre-ordered as soon as my local dealer had the demo model available.
I'm in no wild rush for the camera to appear, so long as the offers still apply. Just posting here as suggested by Ian, not asking for anyone to do anything yet on my behalf as my local dealer has confirmed that I'm now 5th in their queue. and they expect a couple more cameras to arrive this/next week.

Re: OM-D E-M1 pricing and offers (UK)

I ordered 18th Sept... Having previously registered with olympus and I posted my receipt copy and code to Germany early last week having finally got the camera kit the same day... So I assume all will be well and the grip and adapter will arrive sometime soon.... ;-)
