Just a few on the first good weather day with my E3

This was a morning walk inthe Roding Valley nature reserve.

The more I use the E3 the more I like it.The colors are very good.At first I was not sure if it was a good color wise as my E1.

All the best

Ps all with either the 12-60 or 50-200(old version),Raw and processed in Silkypix. Some cropping and sharpening in photoshop.

A nice selection there

Especially the cormorant (I had no idea they could be found there!) and the back view of the geese in tow

Nice shots Andy, you've got some great colour in those berries and the cow... it looks like the E-1 has a worthy successor - will you keep your E-1?

Kind Regards

Brian

Thanks for the comments.Yes I will keep the E1 as I think its a classic camera,my E500 was sold yesterday to offset a small bit of the cost of the E3.
I also am very impressed with the 12-60 as an alround walkabout lens.I suspect I may noy use the 14-54 much now and may have to consider selling it at some time.
Also the 50-200 focus seems much better with the E3(not sure if its faster but seems to lock much better).

All the best

Andy

Yes, I know what you mean about the 12-60. My 14-54 is now living on my E-1... the 12-60mm has a much more useful range, as I found yesterday on my scouting trip to York :

E-3 + 12-60mm SWD lens at 12mm

...and just a few seconds later from the same spot, at 60mm

Kind Regards

Brian

They look fine shots with a new camera and the 12-60 seems very good.
