Olympus M.Zuiko 14-150mm F4-5.6

I need to raise some funds, so this little used lens has to go - it's in immaculate condition and has always had a UV filter (also supplied) fitted. Great image quality for m43, and also a pretty huge focal range - it's no slower than the kit zooms or the 40-150mm, and the image quality is just as good if not better.

I ended up with a couple of prime lenses, so have been using those nearly all the time and need a Panasonic 14mm F2.5 to complete the trio, so I would consider a P/X for that lens if you have one (no other trades considered).

It came as part of a kit, so no original box, but it will be extremly well packed for shipping.

The best current new price from a reputable source is 457 inc P&P from SRS, although you may get a far better price than this from humpurwallet.com in Albania.

350 inc RMSD

Just to add that this is a cracker of a lens - buy it now before Derek comes to his senses and keeps it!

Re: Olympus M.Zuiko 14-150mm F4-5.6

I'm tempted...

I have the Mk1 m14-42 lens, MMF-2, & 4/3 40-150 (which I use on the E-1 too, rarely).

Now, let me think.... Sell these for what, 50 + 60 + 70 = 180 and I'm nowhere near 350!!

Yes I know I've got all sorts of other kit for sale, but that money's spent already in my mind!

How much better, if any, is the IQ of this 14-150 than the two lenses (MMF-2 on the 2nd) mentioned above?

Re: Olympus M.Zuiko 14-150mm F4-5.6

David....

I've been more than delighted with it the small number of times I've used it - I can't put numbers and figures to image quality, but this one is seriously good. The size, weight, zoom range and portability is worth the price on it's own. As Stephen says, grab it (and he's a fussy sod, so it must be good).

...and I forgot - also comes with the original Olympus LH-61C lens hood which is around another 27 on top of the price of the lens..... so new value around 485!!

Maybe I should just give it away free instead!

Re: Olympus M.Zuiko 14-150mm F4-5.6

I'd say the image quality is on a par with the 4/3 40-150 and a good bit better than the 14-42. It has, I think, the same aperture range, and of course is just one lens. And it's probably lighter than carrying the two.

PS Derek, the usual commission applies

A little bump for this since I'm back from my hols - also a final reduction in price to 320.
