Ooh! I think I'm going to fall

A dull misty day today so we took a trip "over the border" to Hadleigh in Suffolk. Never one to miss a birding opportunity I remembered there is an RSPB reserve called Wolves Wood just outside the town which is one of the few places in our area where you can find Tree Creepers. SWMBO stayed in the car in the car park while I crept around in the wood with bins and Bigma. I heard a Tree Creeper but never saw one so occupied myself taking mediocre shots of catkins and emerging leaves. When I got back to the car SWMBO said that five minutes after I disappeared into the wood a Tree Creeper landed on the tree in front of the car and climbed all the way to the top.
When I got home and processed my catkin shots I discovered this one.

Well it cheered me up a bit anyway.

Lovely detail, it does indeed look as if it's holding onto the branch.

Did you also manage to take any pictures of the tiny red flowers that'll turn into nuts?

Thanks Ellie.
I was quite surprised to get reasonable detail as I was using the wrong lens (Bigma) and manual focus via the viewfinder.
No sign of the red flowers in this wood yet (unless of course I missed them).
Yes the well known law that seems to govern everything.

Regards
