A walk along the canal

A leisurely stroll along the canal today in the sunshine and heat potted various scenes which I think are worth posting.

I know 3 has the bettershot of the Heron but i preffer the second one with it in a nice setting.

Nice.
I've always liked canals for some reason. Used to fish them when I was young, maybe that's it. They always seemed peaceful and calm places.
