Anyone ID this? I was told by one of the guys in the Hide I was in that he thought it was a Sparrow Hawk?

Kestrel I think. That black mark down the head points to that, You might be able to get more colour out the RAW....

You might want to be a bit more selective about who you share your hide with It's clearly a female Kestrel.

Thanks for the ID. I thought it was a bit suspect. I did convert it from raw Mark and had to push the shadows a lot to get any detail hence it's so light. I didn't want to push the colour too much not knowing what it was supposed to be. Might have another go now I know.

Have to say it looks better on my Surface pooter screen (colourwise)..

I think my old Dell screen is a little bland.....:-( These birds of prey are easily confused if its not one of your specialities. Generally a kestrel will hover occasionally, whereas the Sparrow Hawk is usually in a hurry everywhere.

Have to say they are not my speciality either... (Not sure what is really)...
