Re: Bird in Flight - Fens Falconry Sunday 9th March

Appologies for the short notice Ian / Andy but I'm going to have to pull out of this event if it goes ahead this weekend.

I was really looking forward to attending, but unfortunately I've got to go to the England v Wales Rugby (three line whip from work that I have to hobnob with our Clients).

Know where I would rather be!

Simon

Re: Bird in Flight - Fens Falconry Sunday 9th March

OK, Simon - in a perverse way a few people dropping out means we shouldn't have to split the event into two separate days.

Maybe we can do something later in the year as well?

Ian

Re: Bird in Flight - Fens Falconry Sunday 9th March

Hi Ian,

I have just found out that I need to be at work on Sunday, so I am afraid my space is up for grabs.

I hope all attending have a great experience.

Re: Bird in Flight - Fens Falconry Sunday 9th March

Ian B are the arrangements fixed yet?
Are we still meeting at 12:30?
Do we need to have eaten or bring sandwiches or purchase food on site?
How long is the event likely to last?
Cheers Phill

Yes to 12:30, bring your own food, and around 3-4 hours. I'm sending out an info pack shortly... Cheers, Andy

Batteries on charge and about to clean some lenses, if only I could decide which ones to bring

Looking forward to it.

Cheers

Re: Bird in Flight - Fens Falconry Sunday 9th March

Sorry to hear this Dave - but it does ease pressure on the day as we are slightly over-subscribed. Nevertheless the weather is looking really promising for Sunday

Julia has even expressed interest in coming along!

Re: Bird in Flight - Fens Falconry Sunday 9th March

Any requests for lenses and camera bodies for me to bring along?

An E-M10 was supposed to be with me by now but nothing has turned up so far

I do have a Stylus 1 that someone requested. I also have the new body cap fisheye - which is rather good!

I will also bring:

Some E-M1 bodies and grips
Some MMF-3 adapters
A 90-250 f/2.8
A couple of 300 f/2.8s
A 35-100 f/2.0
A 50-200SWD
A 50-200 Mk1
Andy already has my 150 f/2
A couple of 75-300s
A couple of 75mm f/1.8s

Anything else?

Ian

Not related to the falconry, but I'd like to look at and play with a 17mm f1.8 if possible, please.

Cheers.
