An old radar testing site

Hi,

Took a trip up to an old radar testing site up near North Berwick. Nice place, strangely relaxing.

Site was used to test radar equipment, not very photogenic but managed to capture a few shots.

Starting to think noise at slower shutter speeds is a bad thing without NR on, problem is taking 3 exposures with NR sure takes its time, think I may invest in a good piece of noise reducing software.

Cheers
Gar

Is that the Bass Rock in the 3rd image Garrie?

You certainly like HDR and tone mapping - I can't remember the last image you posted that wasn't manipulated with that technique!

Hi Jim,

Not sure about the bass rock, It was in a straight line to a mock up nose cone of an airplane.

Yeah I love tone mapping, I know a lot of people hate it however it is a PP technique just like others

Most of my explores are tonemapped, however I do like taking untonemapped shots, I posted a few untonemapped imagines before, take a look at my gallery

Judging by your photos I'd say it was very photogenic.
