Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 50-200 1:2.8-3.5

Olympus Zuiko Digital 50-200 1:2.8-3.5 240 and postage

wonderful lens, perfect for landscapes, birding, dragonflies, portraits etc...

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE 4/3RDS VERSION, NOT MICRO 4/3- TO USE ON MICRO 4/3 YOU WILL NEED AN ADAPTOR

I have used this with the mmf-1 on both my em1 and em1 mark 2 and it works amazingly

IMHO it has better visuals than the newer 40-150.. the newer lens focuses a little quicker ,but with this you get that extra reach..

Condition is excellent, glass sharp and clean. A little dust ( as all lenses have) and a crack in the focusing window ( something was dropped on it, and not the other way round - however the weather sealing is still 100% . Focuses fast and true, zooms smoothly other than the normal slight ( and i mean slight) tightness at 200mm where the seal kicks in

It is the non SWD version (MK 1) so you won't have your SWD motor packing in a few years down the line

It also works amazingly well with the original 4/3 1.4 teleconverter - for the last couple of years this was my go to dragonfly rig as it has very good close focus abilities

Comes with 67mm uv filter, front and rear caps, original tripod mount, original hood and original pouch ( I have the strap for the pouch as well and this will be included )

Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask- if you want to view, I am in Swadlincote

UK only sale, postage 8 insured due to value

great lens. I already have one. Can't think of any reason to want a 40-150 Pro

Re: Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 50-200 1:2.8-3.5

I agree it is a great lens and I did feel it gave a slightly different look to images than the 40-150 does. I didn't do any proper back to back direct comparisons when I had both but I did think it had slightly softer bokeh which I liked. Good luck with the sale.

Re: Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 50-200 1:2.8-3.5

Agree with you both, its a wonderful lens. I am desperately trying to slim down the lens collection however- as much as I love the 50-200, my 35-100 is on my camera 90% of the time for everything, and with 1.4 and 2 tc i feel comfortable with the length
