S-AF+MF not available

Hi,

When using my Zuiko 300/2.8 lens with the EM-1 Mark 2, fine adjusting of focus manually is not possible since the S-AF+MF AF mode is not available for selection. When using the EM-1 Mark 1, that mode is available and I can fine tune the AF manually.

Any idea what could be the cause?

Thank you.

Re: S-AF+MF not available

A number of features were changed in the new firmware 3.1.
It is all in the revised manual.

S-AF+MF is available.
Youi have to decide if you are someone who likes the +MF feature or not. Once you tell it, it will appear.

Go to menu A1, second line down, and turn it on.

Also with MF (& +MF), note the shortcut method of changing Focus Peaking settings with the Info key too (colour & intensity plus ON or OFF). https://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=51278

Re: S-AF+MF not available

I love 3.1. Several individually small but real-world useful tweaks that I use every day.
