Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II The second Micro Four Thirds camera that offers phase detect focusing so you can use Four Thirds DSLR lenses normally as well a Micro Four Thirds lenses.

Assign button to Mono, another to 1:1 format.

I don't think it's possible, is it?

I'd have to use either C1,2 or 3 I'm thinking.

You can use multifunction button assign to aspect ratio for 1:1.

Thanks, not quite like assinging it to a button though.

I don't want to waste a custom mode on them, be nice just to press a button.
I feel sure it cant be done, just wondered if anyone had a 'work-around'.

Multifunction button is Olympus name for a button function, not a custom mode. By default on every Olympus camera is assigned to FΝ1 or FN2 but you can change that and assign the function to another programmable button. It can be used for 4-6 different options as: magnify, aspect ratio, H/S curves ...
