Mallards beak looks weird

Is it just me or does the beak on a Mallard look like a dogs head?

Yes, now you come to mention it

A bit like an Alsatian pictured close-up with a fish-eye lens

Cheers,

It looks about the right pattern, and is almost the right size, to be a Yorkie, it's even got the black shiny nose.

Odd how animal's camouflage and warning markings work out isn't it?
