focus point

is there any way to keep the focus point locked in one place ,it seems to have a life of its own moving around the screen

Re: focus point

I have the E-M10 Mkii and I've not had that problem?
You can manipulate the focus point on the touchscreen with the camera to your eye.
I've read people saying they find it moves with their nose
I'm right handed, left eye dominant and never had that issue but you can disable the function.

I guess the other candidate is you're in a focus mode that is trying to track movement C-AF tracking or whatever?

Re: focus point

Disable both the 4-way pad keys and the touchscreen. Also set a Fn key to reset the focus point to the central position after it has been moved for any reason.

Re: focus point

I think (occasionally) that if you have a multiple focus point set, ie the 5 point cross, or the 9 point rectangle, the camera chooses what it thinks is the focal point within these formations.....

I may be wrong, I often am..
