Auto Ibis - what do you think of it?

I have set up auto ibis (it was set up as the default anyway) and I think that I am going to like it!

I'm guessing auto ibis is some sort of IS setting. I was looking for a bird shot.

Re: Auto Ibis - what do you think of it?

Sorry David, with only a day of using my EM1 I automatically assumed that everyone had their's too! Yes Auto IBIS is a setting within the menu and very cleverly senses when you are panning, so no more switching IBIS to another mode. Well done Olympus as I frequently forgot on my EM5!

I was pleased to see it; makes huge sense!

Frequently switching between landscape and portrait orientation when shooting sports - some panned, some not, up to 280mm FL and varied light....

Happy to trust the camera on this, and better than trying to double guess the next shooting mode!
