Foxglove

Whilst out walking in the woods I came across this foxglove, with the sun setting behind it. First attempt at this technique so I would appreciate open feedback.

Re: Foxglove

I rarther like this.
Personally I would like to see the flowers a bit more saturated but thats my own taste.

broketh could be smoother but we use the lenses we have and you have made good use of yours.

Re: Foxglove

If it was in shot Raw I would have increased the W/B at bit. From the exif I see it was shot with auto W/B.I must admit I find the auto W/B on the E3 not as good as the old E1.

Smile Re: Foxglove

Many thanks for the feedback.

I was using F4 so next time I should get closer so I zoom back a bit and open up more. This should smooth out the background a little better.

I'll try to increase the saturation in Photoshop, although it was a very pale flower I agree a bit more punch would help.

Re: Foxglove

I like it too, and I'm also always amazed by the range of colours in foxgloves, some are an incredibly deep vibrant pink while others are quite a delicate shade.
