Scarlett

I recently had the pleasure of meeting and working with a new model at a Studio Group session.

Despite being restricted to two 4 minute shooting periods I quickly struck up a great rapport with her and got some of my favourite studio images of all time

I hope you enjoy then as much as I do

I shall be working with Scarlett on a 1:1 shoot soon, set in a disused army camp building so hope to have more time to come up with something a little different

Re: Scarlett

My best shots always come from having had a good conversation.

These, especially the last one are good, but working alone together, that rapport will build and they can only get better.

Look forward to seeing what you two produce together.

Re: Scarlett

She's certainly a natural model and you did well to get some many shots with such variety in a short time. My favourite is No1 but they are all excellent IMO. Can't wait to see the results of the 1:1 shoot!

Re: Scarlett

thanks John, I was impressed as she is not a professional model and had only done a few shoots with one of our club members before.

A real joy to work with as she listened and followed direction

Re: Scarlett

#1 is good but I'd like to see a bit more of a smile. The others show a nice quirky character with a suitable but changing expression. Well done.

P9290108-2 is my personal favourite but that doesn't take anything away from the others.

Thanks for your comments everyone

#1 is good but I'd like to see a bit more of a smile.
I got her trying a series of moods from aggressive, through distant (this one) to directly engaging with the camera as a person she liked (I get a bit bored just producing pictures of beautiful women smiling, its good to try to see a bit of the other side of the person )

Re: Scarlett

I'm normally no fan of studio work but these really appeal to me, Brian. She's certainly a great model with plenty of natural pzazz.
