Re: Corfe Castle

Thanks Hew. Must say that I wasn't all that taken with it when I downloaded it, but having worked on it a little in LR 3, it is growing on me.

Re: Corfe Castle

Lovely images. #2 is my fave, with the lane leading up to the castle although you could have taken a saw to cut off the right lower branch of the tree to expose the hillside!!

Re: Corfe Castle

I like no1 best, the sunlight has really picked out the castle. I like the contrast with the fine branches on the trees too.

Re: Corfe Castle

That's one place I have been meaning to visit for a long time. Would love to meet up but those dates in May will find me somewhere deep in the Mediterranean. Let me know if you can change the dates and I would love to be there.

Edit: Update, could just make those dates so count me in Dave.

Re: Corfe Castle

DDave, What are you doing in one of my favourite spots for photographing Corfe Castle? The light on the castle is great and seeing as I only live three miles away from Corfe I will look forward to meeting you on the 19th or 20th May. Regards, Keith.

Re: Corfe Castle

Thanks for your comments guys, really encouraging. My wife tells me I am too fussy re my pics so it is good to get positive comments from other photographers.

Steve & Chevvyf1, I will post details of timings & location nearer the date.

Re: Corfe Castle

Love the unusual viewpoint and creative framing in No2 but it's the light that makes No1 really special.
