Focus Bracketing v Post Focus Function

I'm looking to move from 4/3rds to M4/3rds and have been looking at the E-M10 Mark 2 or the Panasonic GX80. I've been loyal to Olympus from OM2 through E500 and then the E620 so tempted by the 10, but the post focus option on the Pano tempts me as I do enjoy taking close ups.

But confused as to what the difference is and if the Focus Bracketing would effectively give me the same final output?

Any experience or thoughts to nudge me one way or the other.

Re: Focus Bracketing v Post Focus Function

Ian has a very good article on the Panasonic "Post Focus" function on the sister site Four Thirds User here.http://fourthirds-user.com/2015/12/e...ra_feature.php which should answer your question.

Essentially "Post Focus" and Focus Bracketing are two different things and are aimed at two different requirements.

she looked at me and said "It's official. I hate your camera. It's just so amazing and perfect I want one!"
